MEN’S SUNDAY AM MINI STUDY : Sunday June 25 & July 2 9am room 109 The Multiplier Leadership Effect: Ever wonder why some leaders get so much out of their people, while other leaders seem to get nothing out of their people?  What about you – what type of leader are you at work, at home, at church? Learn what makes leaders multipliers and what makes leaders diminishers in this 2 week mini-study.

NEW MEN’S SUNDAY AM STUDY :
starting July 9 9am room 109 - Thinc Diphruntly by James MacDonald. Beyond behaviors and deeper than attitudes, thinking determines outcome more than anything else. If you repeatedly find yourself in places where you don’t want to go, it’s your thinking that leads you there. God offers your only hope for victory over disposition, dysfunction, double-mindedness, and every mental stronghold. With Him, you can think differently. Pastor James MacDonald leads us through this powerful study.

MEN’S WORKSHOP & BBQ:
Join us at GCC for the morning on Saturday, July 8 for this Men's event that will give you the encouragement and practical insights you need to succeed as Christian fathers, grandfathers, or mentors. Through guided discussion about your own experiences, an examination of biblical principles and examples, and practical teaching, you will leave equipped to father the hearts of your children and grandchildren, rather than fathering for performance. The event will also give you ideas to help you be more effective regarding boundaries, establishing identity, protection, and priorities. Ronn Read (Regional Director for Man In The Mirror) takes us through this critically important seminar.  Then stay for a post-seminar BBQ at GCC.  All-inclusive cost is $20.  Sign up in the Narthex on Sunday.

BREAKTHROUGH FOR WOMEN:
Register Sunday in the Narthex or HERE for our Friday, July 7 evening of a pizza and salad dinner at 5:00 p.m. followed by worship, testimonies and prayer. There is no cost for this event, but registration will be required. Childcare is provided.

THREADZ 2017: Our 2017 target is to provide school uniforms for 150 children in the Waukegan School District. We need your help with:

SPONSORSHIP- Sponsorship includes a $60 donation that pays for 3 shirts and 2 pairs of pants, and a drawstring bag.
VOLUNTEERS- We need help at our try-on events on July 15, July 16 and July 19. Here we welcome the families and help the kids find uniform sizes that fit them. There are also opportunities to help with ordering, sorting and distributing the uniforms. We especially need help from those who speak Spanish.

Visit our table in the Narthex Sunday to sign up or find out more, or you can donate HERE.

LET'S EAT TOGETHER: As a summer outreach initiative, all of the GO! Together churches (those partnering together here in Gurnee) are encouraging the people in their congregations to host BBQ's, picnics and parties in their neighborhoods this summer. This could be anything from having one neighbor over for dinner to having a large block-party. The purpose is simply to get to know our neighbors better so that we can love them better. In order to celebrate our success and be able to follow up with those accepting this challenge, we are asking people to register their event once they have set a date.  You can register at go-together.org/summer-outreach.  The goal is to have 100 events like this before Labor Day.

VBS/VBX NEEDS: If you are able to help set up on Sunday, June 25 from 1:00-3:00 or tear down on Friday, June 30 from 4:30-6:30, we would truly appreciate the support!  Though we are have a registration fee this year it only covers the extras that the children get to take home with them, i.e. t-shirt, cd of music, lanyards, etc.  This does not cover the set, decorations, snacks, and other supplies. If you are unable to volunteer we would graciously welcome a monetary donation.  Blessings and thanks!MANY HANDS PROJECT NEEDS: July 9 – 15, 2017.
