Weddings at Gurnee Community Church
The Pastors of Gurnee Community Church welcome the opportunity to serve couples at the time of their wedding. If you are interested in having your wedding at Gurnee Community Church, the procedures are as follows:
1. Contact the church and request a copy of our Wedding Handbook. Detailed guidelines will be sent to you so that you can learn more about our procedures. Contact the church office at 847-336-2392.
2. Once you have received and reviewed the wedding handbook, if you desire to secure a wedding date, contact the church to set up an appointment with one of the pastors.
3. After meeting with a pastor, the date and time of your wedding can be secured in our calendar. Members of GCC can reserve their date for no charge. A fee of $100.00 is required for non-members to secure their wedding date and is refundable up 3 months in advance of the date.
4. The couple wil meet with the pastor a minimum of three times before their wedding to discuss the details of the wedding and to get acquainted.
5. Couples may be required to attend an additional conference of class in preparation for their life together. Details will be discussed at the initial meeting with a Pastor.
