Associate Pastor Position
Gurnee Community Church, a non-denominational congregation of over 400 families, is looking for a full time Associate Pastor. We have a great history (founded in 1860) within our community and a reputation for being an active congregation with warm welcoming hearts. We desire an Associate Pastor who is a Minister of the Word and Prayer, who is passionate, approachable and will strengthen our Christian ministry as well as challenge the congregation to apply their spiritual beliefs to their everyday life.
A qualified candidate will have a Master of Divinity degree (or equivalent) from an accredited seminary, will be ordained or a candidate for ordination by an ecclesiastical body which is of a theology and practice consistent with that of Gurnee Community Church, and will have spiritual fruit-bearing experience in Discipleship Ministries, Biblical Teaching, Spiritual Leadership, Preaching, Pastoral Care as well as experience supervising church staff members.
